  2. Inserting Columns in a Data Sheet

  4. Step 1
  5. Select one or more consecutive columns in a data window to indicate where you want to insert new columns.
  6.  
  7. Step 2
  8. Choose Insert (Cmd-I) from the Data menu.
  9.  
  10. One or more empty columns appear in the selected area (the number of columns depends on how many you selected in step 1).
  11.  
  12. The columns you selected in step 1 and all columns to the right of this selection are shifted over to accommodate the new columns.
